The ‘Apprentice of the Year 2023’ award will be presented to an Apprentice who has striven to work and learn at the same time to achieve great results for both themselves and their employer in the true spirit of Apprenticeships.

This Award is dedicated to finding a business which excels in looking after its staff through effective leadership, healthy workplace culture and well-being practices, training and development opportunities, and wider employee benefit structures to maximise the potential of its people and become a significant player in its industry.

This award is dedicated to finding a creative campaign or project that excels in innovation, execution, and impact for both the client and end target audience.

The creative campaign/project can be in print, digital or a combination of media formats including websites, logos/corporate identities, brochures, social media or other forms of corporate communications that have delivered tangible results.

This award will be dedicated to the company that demonstrates all-round excellence in business delivering an innovative product or service within a sustainable, secure financial and business model.

The Business Person of the Year award is open to entrants that can show outstanding dynamism, ingenuity and motivation in the business, as well as bringing financial and/or non-financial benefits, that are exceptional to the size of the organisation.

The Carbon Reduction Award recognises organisations, projects, or individuals for their exceptional efforts in reducing carbon emissions and mitigating climate change.

The recipient of this award will become our charity partner next year and will benefit from fundraising activity and all the brand awareness generated by the North Cheshire Business Awards.

The charity will work with us to help promote the Awards whilst benefiting from profile exposure throughout the local and business community.

The Excellence in Customer Service Award will be presented to a company that demonstrates an ongoing commitment to improving its standards of customer service.

The winner will have implemented successful customer service strategies and recognised opportunities that have had a significant impact on customer experience. They will be able to demonstrate employee engagement, ongoing training and good internal communication.

The Health & Wellbeing Award recognises an organisation that has shown a commitment to the health and wellbeing of its staff.

This award will be given to the company that demonstrates all-round excellence in business delivering an innovative product or service within a sustainable, secure financial and business model.

This award will be given to a start-up business that began trading after April 1st 2021 and has brought a fantastic new product or service to market, found a niche area to focus on or have overcome all odds to achieve success.

The winner will be a business who demonstrates an ambition to succeed and a thirst to sustain and grow the business in the future.

The Team of the Year Award has been designed for businesses that can demonstrate and show real life examples of how teamwork has led to their success and their consistent, high levels of customer care and service.
